Governor of Mari El promised to dig up a village road ahead of elections

Leonid Markelov, the current governor of the Republic of Mari El, promised to dig up a village road before the elections that will be held on 13 September 2015. The incident occurred at the opening of a medical and obstetric station in the village of Shimshurga in the Zvenigovsky District.
