Finno-Ugric Online Phrasebook to Start Being Made Up in Russia

A group of developers from Mari El and Komi has started making up an online Finno-Ugric phrasebook. The initiator and customer of the innovation product is the ministry of national policy of the Komi Republic.

The project is complemented on the bases of the Russian Media Center FINUGOR.RU, the phrasebook will be put in an open access on the website of the Finno-Ugric electronic library FULIB.RU and on the digital providing portal of the Finno-Ugric languages MARLAMUTER.RU. Continue reading

Voting for Wonders of Finno-Ugric World to Start on October 1, Proposing for Sites to Go on

Voting for nominee sites for the title of “the Wonder of the Finno-Ugric World” starts on October 1 on the website of the Media Center FINUGOR.RU. From October 1 to October 30 you can vote for the sites of any nationality: by the Internet ONCE in 24 hours for ONE wonder in each of the four categories: monuments and constructions, holidays, nature and culture. The number of SMS messages is not limited. The sites-winners of the voting from every nationality will reach the final, where 7 wonders of the Finno-Ugric world will be chosen. Continue reading
