The 2016 International Finno-Ugrist Students’ Conference IFUSCO will be held on 15-18 September 2016 in Helsinki. This conference is being held in place of the planned conference in Khanty-Mansiysk, which was postponed twice before finally being cancelled.

The decision made at the closing plenar session of the XXV International Finno-Ugric Students’ Conference IFUSCO-2009 in Petrozavodsk (Karelia) was to hold the next XXVI IFUSCO-2010 in Kudymkar, Perm krai.

On September 22 Head of Karelia Sergey Katanandov met with delegates that will represent our republic at the IVth Congress of Finno-Ugric Peoples of the Russian Federation in Saransk on September 24-26.
